
Health Consumer Alliance Partners Eleven legal services organizations work together to provide consumer assistance to low-income Californians through the Health Consumer Alliance. National Health Law ProgramThe National Health Law Program serves as lead agency. NHeLP provides support for legal and policy advocacy on the state and national level, coordinates HCA partnership activities, administers HCA’s database of consumer problems and assistance provided, and develops advocate and consumer educational materials. Western Center on Law & Poverty The Western Center on Law and Poverty also provides support for legal and policy advocacy on the county and state level, coordinates HCA administrative and legislative advocacy in Sacramento, and develops advocate and consumer educational materials. Local Health Consumer CentersHCA's local Health Consumer Centers help low-income people get essential health care in thirteen California counties.
