A federal judge ruled against 18 states seeking to compel the government to pay subsidies to health insurers for low-income people.
Judge Chhabria said:
California and most of the other state plaintiffs saw the writing on the wall a long time ago – that the administration was going to terminate these payments to insurance companies to subsidize co-payments and deductibles.
