Kids with chronic conditions are especially vulnerable to health insurance changes. A new study finds that transitioning children from the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) to policies offered in health law marketplaces can also leave kids and their families financially vulnerable. This study comes when Congress must soon decide whether to extend CHIP funding.
