Millions will lose insurance if the ACA is repealed

According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, repeal of the Affordable Care Act

  • would cost 18 million people their insurance in the first year
  • could increase the number of uninsured Americans by 32 million in 10 years, and
  • cause individual insurance premiums to double over that time.
