class=\"kt-blocks-info-box-text\">A new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chcf.org\/publication\/medi-cal-addiction-treatment-mainstream\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> <\/strong>by the California Health Care Foundation has found that the implementation of the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) has been largely successful in improving access to substance use treatment for low-income individuals. In 2015, California became the first state in the nation to adopt a program targeted to Medicaid beneficiaries with substance use disorders.
