June 2023 settlement in a lawsuit filed against the County of Santa Clara in the Santa Clara Superior Court (Case No. 19CV357560). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are in this group of patients, you should receive a letter from the County of Santa Clara starting the week of<strong> August 14, 2023, or in the following weeks<\/strong>. As soon as you receive the letter, it is important to act quickly to apply for a re-evaluation of your bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the date of the letter from the County of Santa Clara Health System about your bill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete an application within <strong>65 days <\/strong>from the date of the mailing of the letter.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The application is attached to your letter <em>or<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use this link for an <a href=\"https:\/\/health.sccgov.org\/retro-FA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>online version<\/strong><\/a> from the County <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mail to: 770 S.
